Hi there!
I'm so glad you're here. Like many of you, I'm juggling quite a few balls in the air. My journey started in an unlikely way - finishing my psychology Masters with a newborn snoozing in a baby carrier while I typed away at my final project. Talk about multitasking!

These days, my life looks like this:
-
Running between sports events for my two incredibly active kiddos (anyone else living the sports parent life?)
-
Learning the ropes of parenting a child with diabetes - a crash course I never expected to take
-
Supporting my parents through complex medical challenges
-
Working as a child psychologist, where I get to help families navigate anxiety and OCD
-
Running a group practice and mentoring early career and new psychologists
-
Attempting to take care myself and manage my own mental health

You know what's funny? Everything I learned in my psychology training took on a whole new meaning once I became a parent. Those textbook theories? They hit different when you're trying to apply them at 2 AM with a worried child or managing blood sugar levels during a gymnastics competition.

I started this podcast because I believe we're all in this together. Whether you're raising a child with unique medical needs, discovering the joy and challenges of neurodivergent thinking, supporting aging parents, or just trying to figure out how to handle your kid's latest worry - I get it. I'm right there with you, wearing both my professional hat and my slightly-messy mom bun.

Let's share this journey together - the victories, the challenges, the moments that make us laugh, and the ones that make us grow. I'll bring what I've learned both as a psychologist and as a mom, but mostly, I'm here to create a space where we can all learn from each other.

Because at the end of the day, we're all just doing our best to raise happy, healthy kids while keeping our own sanity intact. And sometimes, that means celebrating the small wins - like successfully getting everyone to their activities on time (victory dance, anyone?) or finding that perfect routine that works for your unique family.
